OCS Verification brings rigor, credibility, and transparency to a company’s resin loss prevention efforts. Independent, facility level inspections confirm the implementation of 25+ required management practices and demonstrate continued progress toward the shared goal of zero resin loss. OCS Verification is a requirement of OCS Blue and OCS Logistics membership.
Verification Information
All OCS Blue and OCS Logistics members must complete independent inspections for their required facilities during each three-year cycle. OCS Blue Verification was launched in September 2023 and OCS Logistics Verification was launched January 2025. Browse the resources below to learn more about each verification program.

OCS Blue Verification
OCS Blue Verification takes place on a three-year cycle. Verification cycles start on Jan. 1 of the first year and end on Dec. 31 of the third year.

OCS Logistics Verification
OCS Logistics Verification takes place on a three-year cycle, following the extended four-year cycle from 2025-2028 to align with the OCS Blue Verification cycle.
Beginning in 2028, verification cycles will start on Jan. 1 of the first year and end on Dec. 31 of the third year.

Required Number of Facilities
While OCS Blue and OCS Logistics members must implement OCS at 100% of all US-based plastic-handling facilities, only a subset of these facilities are required to achieve OCS Verification for each cycle.

Scheduling OCS Verification
Scheduling OCS Verification
OCS Blue and OCS Logistics members may schedule a standalone OCS Verification inspection with an approved OCS Blue or OCS Logistics Verifier, respectively. Schedule and pricing for an OCS Verification inspection is arranged exclusively between the OCS member and the approved OCS Verifier. Inspections are required to take place on-site and in-person.

Technical Support Appointments
