OCS Blue and OCS Logistics members can also participate in OCS committees and working groups to collaboratively guide the evolution of the OCS program.

All OCS members commit to the pledge requirements.

  • Commit to making zero plastic resin loss a priority.
  • Assess your company’s situation and needs.
  • Make necessary upgrades in facilities and equipment as appropriate.
    • Improve your worksite set-up to prevent and address spills.
    • Create and publish internal procedures to achieve zero resin loss goals.
    • Provide employee training and accountability for spill prevention, containment, cleanup, and disposal.
  • Raise employee awareness and create accountability by encouraging them to sign the Employee Commitment Pledge.
  • Comply with all applicable state and local regulations governing pellet containment.
  • Follow up and enforce procedures, including conducting routine inspections and looking for ways to continuously improve your program.
  • Participate in quarterly data reporting of the OCS Core Metrics.
