OCS Blue members must be a material supplier (including mechanical and advanced recyclers) or a processor that handles preproduction plastic resin in the U.S. All plastic resin-handling facilities in the U.S. must participate.

OCS Blue members commit to implementing the OCS Pledge at all U.S. resin-handling facilities, reporting quarterly data on any unrecovered resin releases, and complete verification inspections at a sample of U.S. facilities during three-year verification cycles. Annual membership dues for OCS Blue members are a flat rate based on your company’s global plastic sales revenue with a discounted rate available for companies that are members of the Plastics Industry Association or American Chemistry Council’s Plastics Division.
