Eligibility

As a subcategory of OCS Logistics, OCS Rail members must be Class I, Class II, or Class III railroads*, or applicable holding companies that handle pre-production plastic resin in the U.S.

*As defined by the Surface Transportation Board

OCS Rail members commit to implementing the OCS Pledge in U.S. resin-handling operations and reporting quarterly data on any unrecovered resin releases.

Annual Membership Dues

Annual membership dues for OCS Rail differ by railroad classification* with a discounted rate available for companies that are members of Plastics Industry Association. A discounted rate is also available for Class II and Class III railroads that are members of the American Short Line & Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA), in addition to a discount for holding companies that own multiple railroads.
